# Public users vs Private users

Hello, I have some doubts regarding the users. I’m testing a small app to learn, and my configuration is as follows, but it says that I have reached the limit of 3 private users. Is it because I have a spreadsheet with people/email and if any of them connect I allow them to edit their avatar for example? Is this considered a private user?

What should I do to make them count as public users? Remove the option to edit their profile?

What does your User Profiles configuration look like?  
Are you using roles?  
Any users that have roles will be counted as Private Users.

Hi Darren.Just noticed i was using Roles without knowing…  
In this view i was showing some random data in the field Role. Thanks!.
