# Profile image crop

do you think that something like this (cropping and positioning image) is possible when someone goes to upload their profile image? because if the image is not square there is a chance that you want the upper or the lower part of the image in the circle.

Should be possible with Cloudinary, I’d expect.

yeah but it it possible for the user to determine how the image will be set in the circle for example in a separate window like the one in the picture?

Again, I’d say yes. You could give the user multiple options to choose from. It won’t be simple or straightforward, but Cloudinary is very powerful when it comes to image manipulation, so it should be possible.
