I’ve been trying to play around with this, but it looks like the feature is still under development.
Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
1. From what I can gather, it requires business plan or above at the moment (cannot be on trial plan)
2. There’s a brand new `Print Screen to PDF` action (only 1 update!):
3. You can specify which components are included within the Print Screen using the `Visible in PDF` dropdown
4. Glide generates a temporary PDF url with a 60-minute expiration
5. Combine this with the `Upload Files` action to permanently save the PDF to Glide
I haven’t been successful creating anything yet though - generating blank pages.
Once this gets going though, it will finally resolve these feature requests from 2020!

I have scoreboards, leaderboards and scorecards (no @Darren_Murphy it is not a golf app 🙂 ) which would align perfectly with this feature.

I’m really hoping this action will be as successful as I think it will be. I’m hoping that it will recognize and honor split containers to create pretty reports etc.

Love this update… it will be sooooo useful! Do you think the PDF will transfer the entire screen into 1 PDF page, regardless of full height? I wonder how it manages pages sizes… maybe a scaler option to fit to page!

I was wondering the same. For now, they’re branding it as a print screen which means page bleed like you were printing from a web page I imagine

More info on this:
- It generates a “function” URL that when resolved will return a PDF.
- You can use it in an Upload File function like Robert noted to convert it to a PDF link.
- I have a very long page. In my test, it splits into multiple pages (answering @Simon_Hill 's question).

Is it possible to have the generated PDF display the actual theme color of the app in the generated PDF? Also custom CSS doesn’t seem to show up.

Looks like it uses a generic print stylesheet that ignores app theme and CSS, for now.
