# Prefill Forms

I have a products table. In the products detail page, I added a button. I want the button to launch an “order” form that I have created that is attached to my orders table. This is very similar to the use case described in the documentation: “Using Column Values in Submissions.” However - the documentation uses an older UX, and I can’t figure out how to do it with the new UX. I can only find ‘go to tab’ (which can be set to arrive at my form, but without any configuration options. Or ‘got to new screen’ which takes me to my Orders table, and passes Column Values, but doesn’t land on a form. ☹

It should be a ‘Show Form Screen’ action to open a form.

When I added the show form screen, the input options were defaulted to the data source from where the form was shown. I didn’t notice that you can change this setting until I downloaded and inspected the ‘inventory’ template. Thanks for pointing it out!
