# Placing a glide app on the app store?!?

Has anyone tried or been successful with placing a glide app actually in the app store?

I know glide is a web link and I understand how it works, but I’m thinking about asking a dev to build “placeholder” app box and then place the glide view in it so it can be added to the app store.

Is there any work around for placing the app in the app store?

Unfortunately, Glide apps are not able to be published to the App Store or Google Play. However, you can share your Glide app as a simple link, which can be accessed from any device with an up-to-date web browser.
