# Overlay size

Hello Guys, anyone know how to increase the size of Overlay? In some cases, the overlay is bigger and in some cases, its small. Can we control the size of Overlay?

Above overlay is smaller whereas I have seen some overlay which is bigger.

I don’t think you can control the size of the overlay. The overlay is responsive and its size is determined by the size of the screen and possibly the width you set in the appearance settings of the app.

Thank you for the response.  
I understand the overlay is responsive but its size differs even though I am using big screen (laptop) all the time.  
You can see this overlay size as compared to the one I attached in original post.

Is the difference noticeable in form screens, edit screens, and normal overlays?

Yes, the size of overlays for Add and Edit screens are smaller and if I open New Screen / Detailed screen in overlay, it’s bigger screen.

The screenshot of big overlay is of “Open New Screen” action
