# "Other" in Choice component =\> new field to specify

Hi Glide Community,
In a form, users choose a city where they live from a list. Even with a pro account, I won’t put all US cities in my spreadsheet.
As I don’t have all the cities, I’ve added an “Other” option in the first line and I want users to be able to specify only when “Other” is selected.
I think there is no way to do this in the form directly and I need to use the details view (but I don’t really want to) but if any of you has an idea for me, I would be really grateful!

Yeah…That’s what I had to do…create a second field. Not ideal, but it works.
