Hi Guys, does anyone know why my sheet with 50 rows would only show a total of 10 rows in the data editor?
It’s a free app well under the limits for edits/rows and all other caps etc
Never experienced this before.
Have you tried:
- Forcing a reload?
- Exiting the builder to the Glide Dashboard, and then opening the app again in the builder?
Tried both and restarted mac too. Still not loading.
Are you using any formulas in GSheet like =filter
to generate those 50 rows? On a few occasions I’ve had to delete filter formulas, refresh glide, and add formulas again. I’m not sure what caused it or why that fixed it.
It’s also a good idea to troubleshoot in something like incognito mode to rule out your browser as the issue.
Can you please show a screenshot?
Okay thanks, let me give that a try. The data was copied from another sheet of mine.
I tried copy and paste all cells, as well as a column at a time. Tried generating the formulas from scratch. Usually i build from scratch but i’ve bulk copied before and never had an issue. I restarted macbook but don’t think i cleared cookies/cache etc.
Will try all this and let you know. Incognito mode also sounds like a good idea.

There are 38 Rows on this sheet. There are gaps between data but i’m using Row ID.
The column labelled “data” is actually two columns which glide has combined (i assume that’s automatically done by the data editor because it suspects i’m creating a chart - which i am)
Gonna clear cache etc now.
No luck with clearing of cookies/cache etc. Still only shows 10 Rows. Even if i create a brand new sheet and add content as usual. Bit weird.
Could you submit a ticket?

Okay thanks for all your help guys. All sorted. The app wasn’t even letting new form data show in the editor (even though it wrote to the sheet fine).
I logged out of glide and logged back in and now all is good. Obviously just needed a fresh start up. So i would say the cause is probably to do with how the computer stores cookies and cache and although i cleared all history/cache/cookies etc it needed the full log out and in process.
Thanks for all your quick responses. Did someone hack the CEO’s account or did the CEO of Glide actually just try answer my random bug issue! Hectic!

Awesome, i feel privileged. Thanks for the great app. I changed careers since lockdown started in March 2020 and came across Glide. Absolutely amazing app! Well done.
