# Old icon when sharing a link, too long text links

Also, is it possible to automatically change the installed app icon when updating the app?

If I recall right, the app icon takes a long while to update on the user’s side after they have installed it, in most cases I have to force the new icon by telling them to install the app again.

I believe the term here is aggressive caching.
