any updates on having a number pad for number entry on apple ios devices? I saw an older post from 2019 about it and just wondering about it now

You can use AI component and ask it to show an input of type number if the native number entry is not working. That should trigger the number pad correctly!

You can do an advanced search in the forum for “March challenge” and look out for the number pads created by Jeff Hager and possibly Krivo. The most recent number pad uses the custom AI component.
