# "Note" block: toggle off the edit function

Hi,

Is there an option to turn off the edit function for the “note” block?

Because I really like the style of the block with the color-filled background.  
Users are instantly reading that text.

Text Blocks don’t have that “eye-catching-thing” I want to achieve. Or is there a possibility to do so?

+1 for this. I’d love to be able to remove the “edit note” functionality.
