# Not enough decimal places in number field

The number field does not allow enough decimal places. We need to add records with GPS coordinates, and limiting the number of decimal places to a maximum of 4 is not enough. Ideally, we need 7 or 8 decimal places. The max we can use now is only 4.

If you just need to save it use a text column.
