# New Glide OS

It’s a hard NO for me. It’s barely 1% of what I built using the regular Glide. Even worst, you’re forced to use AI chat to build apps. Literally can’t even build 1% of what I had.

This is an example of when copying the industry fails, HARD.

Hi @newyorkengineer, what type of app did you build on Glide Classic? Is it was we could call an internal business app that could have lived in one or multiple spreadsheets?

If you think GlideOS is incomplete, you should have seen the original Glide when it was one day old 😉

David, you’re right. Forgive my harsh judgment. Moreso for selfish reasons I like Glide Classic 😅😂
