I created a new App from a Classic App, and I’ve been trying to bring the two Apps as close as possible in functionality. But in the DATA editor, I have a field that will not populate. I thought the new and classic apps just use the same glide table. Everything is set up the same. But you can see my field “Gendered Prayer” is populating in the classic app, but not in the new app. WHY??? I don’t think the end of June is enough time to get everything accomplished. Why do the old apps have to stop working? Just stop new development. If you double click on any cell in the template column, do you see any content? Like can it be pushed down a row by any chance? ---

Thank you for responding. The main field brought in by the template is _Prayer_, and as my post shows, is populated. The other fields are replacements. When it finds his/her, it replaces it with the current value in Pos (which would be his _or_ her). The same with the other fields. They are simply replacements for a word here or there. If you duplicate the problematic template column, does it show the value? ---

Nope, it won’t even light up “save” for me. How this situation came about is I deleted the “vices” field while in the classic app. Since it’s the same table, it deleted it in the new App. But the new App should have gotten rid of that field in the screen since it no longer existed. It did it in the classic app. ---

That makes sense. I suppose it handled it correctly in the old app because you were maintaining that app in the builder and it knew how each column is connected throughout that app. But it had no idea how the columns are used in other apps. From the new app’s perspective, the database became corrupt with a missing column. ---
