The “Column” option takes columns in your previous screen, so yes User 2 is the one to store your “To” information. I was just trying to answer why that column is marked as text, not email, because you likely haven’t had any information written to it. ---

Im not sure what the issue is. you did not have a messages tab(the chatuserarray and other things where in your user ptofile column) so the data might have been mixed up ---

and @ThinhDinh So, I see in your spreadsheet, you have your comments shown in your Chats tab. For some reason my chats only show in the AppComments tab of my spreadsheet (generated by Glide). It does not show up in my chats/messages tab. Any idea what happened? I have RowIDs and all as you shown in the video… I would be just fine with the AppComments, but I think that is messing up my Incline list. ---

The ‘App: Comments’ sheet won’t be read by Glide. You have to use a formula to pull that to a new sheet you create by yourself. ---

Hello there - if anyone can assist, please let me know. Here’s where I’m stuck. **Key: User1 is me, User2 is a business I want to be able to communicate with, I’m calling my messages notifications.** 1. I believe this part is working: the business sees a request when they look at the notifications tab. 2. The part I think that needs the most work is showing the inline lists - I want User1 me to see the User2 business image and profile as the author of the messages. And vice versa for when User2 is signed in and looking. 3. It may be that my fields aren’t auto populating. Due to that, the view User2 sees is blank and it appears my User1 is seeing their own name on a comment that User2 wrote. What method did you use to make sure all of your relations and lkups autofill when a new chat request is submitted? I have different variations of relations/lookups/templates/and ifThenElse’s set up, but not all of them get filled in. I’ve looked at your videos and Robert Petitto’s video. I’m missing part of it. Can you share more detail on how you set up the screen(s) where the initiator is looking at the chat with user2 and vice versa? If it would help to see more or look at the app itself for you to assist, please let me know. And thank you so much for your time. Here’s what I usually do. Firstly make sure the email array is set to row owner so users only see what they can see. Make a relation matching email 1 back to the profiles sheet, get back the user name and user image. Do the same thing for email 2. Then make an If Then Else column, if email 1 is signed in user then email 1 lookup name, else email 2 lookup name. Do the same for the image. Set the display image to be that if then else column’s value, same for the title (name). ---
