Good day everybody!

I was wondering if there is a way to use a messaging feature to send a message to attendees using the conference app template provided by Glide? For example, if a course is canceled or if there is an update for attendees to know about. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Do you mean everyone should get an in-app notification (some sort of workaround) or an email?

It would be great as a in-app notification or maybe the ability to email them if not possible to do the notification.

> This was inspired by a [recent tutorial](https://community.glideapps.com/t/allow-users-to-acknowledge-a-global-alert-on-every-post-with-one-click/23072) by @Robert_Petitto (who else? rofl) For an app I am currently working on, there is a requirement to support Global Announcements. The basic requirements are: An Administrator can create an announcement and target it at a specific group of users When a user opens the app, any new announcements will be front and centre on their dashboard The user can view the announcement and mark it as read Administrators can track how many users have read each announce…

This might give you some idea.
