Hey everyone, **Glide Pages are now called Glide Apps.** This change keeps us moving towards [our 2023 goal](https://www.glideapps.com/blog/year-in-review-2022) of having a powerful, unified Glide platform. As of today: - Glide Pages are **Glide Apps** - Glide Apps are _Glide Classic Apps_ - Only users who signed up before March 20, 2023 can build _Classic Apps_ Your existing _Classic Apps_ will not be affected. They will simply be referred to by a new name. They will continue working, and you can continue building _Classic Apps_. That said, starting today, we strongly recommend you build all future projects using **Apps** rather than _Classic Apps_. **Apps** are fully optimized for mobile and desktop devices, maintain all the same core capabilities you love, and include powerful new functionality like Big Tables, Actions, and Integrations. _Classic Apps_ will not support these features. What is the difference between choosing Mobile and Large Screen when creating a new Apps? ---

Nothing. It’s just the starting view when you start building a project. You can still switch between either view when building your app, and the published app will automatically adapt between mobile and large screen depending on screen resolution. ---

This is a confusing choice. I think asking for it when starting a project is unnecessary. Especially for new Glide users who will struggle to choose. ---

Are you referring to the choice between Apps and Classic Apps? If so, we agree – and that’s why we set today as the cut off date. New Glide users won’t have access to create Classic Apps. ---

Since this choice is not affecting the building properties, it should not be there… If I would not know better… i would have a big problem starting the App 😉 ---

What’s going to happen to some of the gestures we love in the mobile app? Example: Swipe. Are they going to be migrated to the new Apps? ---

Is there anyway to migrate a full Classic app over to the new cooler app? Or will you have to build everything again? ---

Nooooooo, we need to have CSS!! Will there be a way to add custom css? So the apps can have that extra custom, premium enterprise feel to it. Maybe a CSS component? 😅 No? ---
