# Markdown doesn't work

Hi folks.

Thank you for letting me into this great community.

Here’s me issue.

Whatever I try does not work. I learned about Markdown and used different editors to create Markdown formatted text.

However, when I copy and paste those text into a rich text format field in Glide, it does not take over the Markdown formation.

What to do?

You need to use it in a Rich Text _[Component](https://docs.glideapps.com/all/topics/components/app-components/text/rich-text)_
