# Make a sum from look up column

Hello Guyz,

I have a very small issue.🙂  
I did a **look up** to get some value per user, and i just would like to **make a sum** of them :  
In my example : 10 + 3 = **13**  
It looks like it doesn’t work from a **look up column** 😅

Any idea?

I faced the same thing in one of my apps. Instead of doing a lookup…create a rollup from the relation.

Thanks for your answer but i tried and when i do **rollup** , i can’t choose the relation column. ☹

You are not using the relation in your Rollup. You are trying to use the sheet. Scroll down and select the relation. I see it’s there in your video.
