# Login through a phone number?

Can I invite people to create a login through a phone number rather than an email?

You can send the link to your app through any means you wish: sms, email, printed QR code, printed URL, links anywhere really.

Login, however, is done through email only.

You can also try the Twilio integration to enable logins via SMS.

Whichever authentification method you use, it all starts with an email address, you cannot login through a phone number.

As Kyle suggested, you can use a phone number to receive a confirmation pin via the Twilio integration, but even in this case, the user needs to start the sign-in process with an email address.
