# LinkedIn, Github refusing to connect

I added a basic table component with a link to a person’s github url and linkedin url and for github I get “Github may not allow itself to be embedded” and for linkedin I get “[Linkedin.com](http://Linkedin.com) refused to connect”

It is a basic product showcase app with team info

I didn’t know links in basic tables defaulted to opening in embed mode. Might have to check that out.

You could always display the links as standard link/button components instead of basic table rows
