# Link to Existing Tab

Currently, I’ve had to ‘recreate’ a tab in order to link to it via a button on another tab. I had to build it separately although it should be identical.

I know this is a feature request - not yet implemented.

However, is there a better workaround than recreating the whole tab that I’m missing here?

@qb15, ufortunately at present this is the only way.

Does the [Link to screen](https://docs.glideapps.com/all/reference/actions/link-to-screen) feature do this? I haven’t used it so I don’t really know but thought I’d mention it.

Nope…still have to recreate the initial screen…however any inline lists will share a details screen unless you select otherwise.
