# Limits for Recording and Voice-to-Text

Hello everyone, I’m working on a feature where users would be making audio recordings and then these recording would be transcribed into text.
Is anyone aware of limits I should be aware of?
- Maximum number of minutes for an audio recording (2, 5, 10, 20, 60 minutes …)
- Maximum length of the recording that Glide AI’s voice-to-text will accept

This post suggested there’s a 10-minute limit for audio-to-text transcriptions.
I don’t use it much so I don’t know if there’s a limit for an audio recording. I would guess it ties with the limit for a single file in Glide. Somebody said it’s 1GB years ago.

Andy, would it be possible to get a little more granularity on some of the storage limits per plan on the pricing pages?
- “Total storage” we have
- Storage per image, per audio file?
- Maximum size of audio recordings?
- Perhaps if possible, the maximum size of files for the input of Glide AI features?
Right now I lack visibility. If developing a voice-to-text feature would even make sense. Whatever the limits, it would be useful to know them to be able to work with them.
Thanks a bunch if you can get some of this information and perhaps post it here in the forum.

Hey Thinh, I was aware of total file storage, but more specifically I’m testing for the above. I’m testing on my side and I’ll share if I can I have an reliable findings.

Also, per Jeremy from Glide, file size limit for Audio to Text is 25MB.
