# Legacy plan vs New plan

Hello, Glide Developers,

Our team is currently using the Legacy Pro (now Team) plan.

Last month, we exceeded 40,000 updates, resulting in a significant cost.

This is very expensive and makes us unhappy.

A significant portion of our usage comes from “Edit row” actions.

We often copy and paste 10-15 rows at a time to shift multiple columns one column down in our data table.

It seems that this action counts as “Edit row” updates.

If we switch to the new plan instead of the legacy plan, can we reduce the number of updates for this “Edit row” action?

Our team is financially constrained and needs to reduce costs significantly. If we can reduce the number of updates, it seems more beneficial to choose the Business plan.

Hey,

What data source are you using?

If you switch to the new plan and use Glide Tables then you can reduce all the Add/Edit/Delete update counts.

We use only glide table.  
I think legacy plan counts update about every edit row in glide table.  
so, Does not new plan count update of edit row? that’s right?

Integrations and updating third party data sources will count against your update quota. Other than that all new plans now have unlimited updates when interacting with Glide tables.

An exception is teams on Enterprise plans count updates for Glide Tables and Big Tables.
