# Legacy filtering

If I understand the new IN-APP FILTER / multiple filter, a new collection can only be filtered by the new system, but an existing collection can continue to be filtered by the old system, unless a new filter is added, then the old “Show filter” choice goes away.

_Pretty please_ either  
keep the old filter system available  
or  
add the record count back into the new filter system

I use those record counts a lot and am missing them very much
