# Layout edits lost when adding navigation

Layout edits were lost after I tried adding that particular sheet to the navigation. How do I retain the layout?

This sounds a bit confusing. Can you give us some screenshots on how you “add that particular sheet to the navigation”?

Now that you know you can’t add Sheets to a free app, does that change anything related to this question?

I just found out that one cannot undo changes in the data table which changes everything. Is that the same with the paid plans as well?

That’s correct. But what’s your use case here? If you want backups of your data, on a paid plan you can probably run a scheduled workflow to export your data to CSV files and send them somewhere to store.
