# Issue with www in custom domain

I have an issue with my custom domain.
I followed all the steps, the domain itself validates,
and [exampledomain.com](http://exampledomain.com) works fine. Typing [www.exampledomain.com](http://www.exampledomain.com) however does not.
My hosting provider said all the DNS records point to the app.
Does anyone have the same issue?

I found this [post from a GoDaddy user](https://www.godaddy.com/community/Managing-Domains/www-domain-not-working-when-forwarding/td-p/119112) with what I think may be the same problem as you are seeing. All providers are not the same but this may give you some insight into how to solve your issue. It does appear to be something that can be solved at your hosting provider end.
