# Is there no 'Undo' in Glide?

If I make a big mistake in the data editor such as deleting a column that I actually really did not want to delete, is there an ‘undo’ function?

There isn’t any undo in the Data Editor. There is an undo in the Layout Editor.

A good practice is to duplicate the project on a daily basis (and the data).

I make plenty of mistakes in the Layout editor. The undo works great and is a life saver.

I keep only 1 copy though 😉  
Joke aside, it saved me more than once to have a copy.  
I’m open to better solution.

There needs to be an undo in the data editor. What is this, 1990?

Glide’s engineering team has so much faith in us builders that they never imagined with might make mistakes 🧘
