# Is there a way to transfer an action chain to a new button?

Is there a way to transfer an action chain to a new button?

At the moment the only way is to duplicate the button, you can’t copy a specific action chain and paste it to a new button.

I was hoping to go from a button bar to a button. Can’t be done based on your reply. No?

Its quite a large action chain.

Yes, that’s not possible unfortunately.
