# IOS Push Notifications

Previously, only Android devices supported push notifications from the web. [This week Apple announced](https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-16-preview/features/) that IOS 16 will support push notifications from websites. What do we need to do to prioritize a “push notification” feature in Glide Apps.

I think they just announced it, but haven’t implemented it yet?  
I guess we’ll have to wait for implementation from apple, then documentation on how to use them, and then Glide would be able to look into that.

I’m interested in finding out if this is now available as well. How do the push notifications currently work for Android users?
