# Informing users of domain change

Hi all,

I’ve recently built a proof of concept app to test if an idea I had would be useful, so far, it’s been very successful and I’m now in a position where I want to expand out to more users on a custom domain.

My main concern is that I’ve had 1200 users visit the platform and many have saved the ‘app’ to their home screen and now I need to move them breaking the URL.

Does anyone have any experience/ideas of how to migrate a bunch of people to a custom domain without causing too much friction/churn?
