# Improved Version Control Story

I recognize that we have a “publish” feature, but I’m wondering about an improved version control story.

Perhaps if auto-publish is turned off, we could create a _marker_ for each manual publish. This way we could revert defects that we publish and undo changes over a longer span of time.

I’m not suggesting a full GIT style setup, but just a linear list of changes, and we could go back and re-publish from that list.

We plan to do this, but it’s not scheduled yet.
