# Import excel file failed

**Description**

- When I try to import an Excel file containing 1,000 rows to update a Glide table, the screen freezes on the Glide loading icon and I don’t get any error message. I have no choice but to close my browser, open a new window, and after checking, I see that the update did not go through

**How to replicate**

- – Select the Glide table in the Data tab  
– Click on the Import button  
– Select the Excel file to import  
– Click on Continue  
– The Glide loading icon appears, but nothing else happens.

If you import a much smaller file, like 10 rows, does it work?
