# Implement a fast barcode scanner

I have been using glide for sometime now. I tried using the barcode scanner feature, it seems to be very slow and also not very well integrated with fields/search bar.

Has anyone made it work for their inventory use cases? I have seen other barcode scanners out there with spreadsheets like, [https://utilize.app/](https://utilize.app/) and they seem promising. Has anyone tried them?
