# Images not showing that user uploads

My users have the option to upload a photo and some of them look like this. Any idea what would cause this?

How are the images added? eg. via a file picker?  
Do you know what the format is of the images that don’t show?  
Glide recognizes JPGs, PNGs, GIFs, and SVGs.

They are being uploaded via camera or file picker on phones

What extension do you see when you check the underlying URL? You can change the column type to text to see that.

I’ve seen this a couple times too. The image component displays the image just fine, but it appears empty in the data editor.
