Hey there,

So, you all know how image titles have their image expanding into the status bar, right? Like this:

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex002/uploads/glideapps/original/3X/7/3/734dc9cd4ee8c714a4e8e56e1bb0c67821d45e44.png)

It turns out that, when they’re placed in a container that has an image background, they don’t work quite as beautifully.

 ![image](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex002/uploads/glideapps/original/3X/e/e/ee2f86fe0e3dfe460c9b2388250493c3e1c9e6e6.png)

The breadcrumb/status bar area is instead replaced with the app’s style. In this case, it’s set to accent.

Is there a way to fix this so that when the image title is placed inside an image container it works normally? This doesn’t happen on normal, highlight, dark or accent containers.

Thanks,
— Dias

I’m not sure it’s by design, but are there any reasons you can’t use the old setup of image titles without the container?

We run a game sharing website and one of the features we have implemented are custom backgrounds for users to add. We use a blurred image container to have those custom backgrounds. Needless to say our users wouldn’t be very happy if we removed that 😅

I agree. Wish they behaved the same way in slide-in/overlay screens as well.
