# I'm trying to understand the EMBED component

Lots of sites won’t work in webview. That shouldn’t be surprising, and there is nothing that Glide can do about it. Webview is essentially an iFrame, and iFrames are considered a security risk.

Is Glide an app for those who know or for those that want to learn? Maybe for both, but most of the last group need to be told/explained.

I’ve had maybe 400 people in beginners Glide classes. I am pretty sure no one knew 😉
