# How to use API Column?

Hello Guys, @ThinhDinh @Darren_Murphy

I have this website which provides API with respect to Govt. data.  
I am looking to [use this particular API](https://apisetu.gov.in/api/companies#/) which gives information regarding company based on CIN (CIN is Company registration number).

I have no idea how API works. Can someone help me understand this? Sample CIN is **U52335OR2011PTC014626**.

You gotta have these first by signing in.

It asks me to provide an Aadhaar Number to sign up though.
