# How to track custom events?

I set the event name in Glide as ‘Item\_Click’ and it appeared in the GTM preview’s left panel. (I don’t know what it is called.)  
The problem is though, it’s not fired. What did I do wrong?

When you configured the integration in Glide, which measurement ID did you use?  
You need to use the one that comes from Google Tag Manager, eg. `GTM-xxxxxx` (the Glide Docs are incorrect on this point).
