I’d like to program a button to open the native Amazon App with e-gift card page open by default. So I can have the user send an e-gift card through their amazon app, as opposed to opening a browser link inside a mobile device.

You can’t directly open another app, but if the app is configured to open amazon links by default, then it may work. I actually just turned that feature off on my phone, because the it was annoying and the amazon app was buggy sometimes.
