# How to manage chat options?

Hello fellow Gliders… I am looking to have a personalized chat option between myself and my clients. I currently have the chat option on but realized, if I don’t have the “people” tab on, I cannot find a person to chat. I have to manually SHOW “people” tab… START the chat… then HIDE “people” tab again.

I don’t want my clients to be able to see each other and chat with each other. I just want to be able to chat with them directly.

How do you have it set up to handle chat right now? the default chat tab is for everyone to chat together, so are you using a comments component instead with a unique title that only you and the other user have access to? What is the People tab? How does it tie into chat? Screenshots help a lot.
