# How to host audio files directly in Glide?

Hello,

I am currently displaying audio by accessing the google-drive urls in my google sheet, but in the docs it is stated that “Hosting audio on Google Drive or Dropbox isn’t advised.”

So how can I host the audio files in Glide?

You can use a File Picker component to upload files directly through the app.

But a File Picker is for the users to upload their audio files right? I want the audio to be in the app from the beginning

You can do the same thing in the builder.  
How many files are you dealing with?
