# How to filter values in a form based on values on screen

I have a screen that is based on each company name and a form that slides in.

I cannot filter the choice for the company selection to only show the company currently on the screen.

You don’t need a company choice. You can instead add the appropriate Value component for company which will pass the value through the form.

The company name does not show up as an option in the ‘values from screen’ column. Am I supposed to see it here?

The company name is a lookup field.

No, you add a Value component. Press the button to add a new component and you will see a bunch of options from the parent table listed as components.
