# How to add back fields to Edit after deleting them? - solved

Hi - I set my data to edit, I removed the Fields I don’t want the users to be able to edit. Now I want to add more fields in, but its not allowing me to do this. Ideas?

You should be able to just add components back while on the edit screen, one at a time. What’s not working for you?

You just select the plus icon at the top right to add a component. You would select the one most appropriate to the data in your column. Have you had a look at some of the tutorials available? [https://www.glideapps.com/learn-to-glide](https://www.glideapps.com/learn-to-glide)  
I would suggest you work through a bunch of those.
