# How do I authorize my application to access files (music, photos, etc.) on the phone?

Hello everybody.  
I want to make a music app for my phone, which replaces the basic one.  
My problem is that I don’t know how to allow my app to access files on the phone.  
I specify that I have a Huawei (Android).  
Do you know how to do it?

I believe the permissions would be the same as the ones for the Chrome browser, so if you enable file/storage access permissions for Chrome, you should be good to go.
