# Horizontal rows

Good afternoon,

Has anyone been successful in creating horizontal rows with buttons. The layout doesn’t seem to allow it. Also, If I chose the 1:2, how do I put something else in that space?

Which space?

When asking questions like this, its always a good idea to include screen shots, so we can be clear about our understanding of what you are asking for.

Okay, that is an Action Row. Action Row “Buttons” will automatically wrap depending on the length of the button labels and the container size. To maximise the number of buttons in a row, make the labels as short as possible (or remove them altogether):

When you add a multi-column container, you will see something like the below in the component list on the left hand side of the layout editor:

To fill each column, simply add components.
