In my Google Sheet, I use Conditional Formatting to highlight certain rows when criteria is met in one of the columns, to make it stand out for the user. In Glide, I know we can use an image to add emphasis to an item in a list, but sometimes every row has an image and it would stand out more if the entire item was highlighted a certain color.

It would be awesome to have this ability in a List view (or even Card and Tile views). Kind of like a second layer to the Filter feature…highlighting items where certain criteria is met.

Hi Travis,

You may find Cloudinary useful for your case. Robert has made some videos about in this thread. I have seen him use it for his game apps. An image is grayed out if the user has not completed his challenge, and colored if the challenge is finished.

> Thanks to @ionamol for keying me into Cloudinary for on the fly, URL based image editing! This awesome resource allowed me to gray out badges that haven’t yet been earned by the user— Started by uploading the image into Cloudinary and then using the built in tools to generate the new URL. Used this URL schema to create this formula: Then, simply created an if/then in Glide. If the badge was owned by the user, then use the colored URL, i…

Hope it helps.
