# Help to create custom separator line to use on specific occasiona

Hi:  
On my phone app for students (new style app), I want to divide the screen into sections as the students scroll down. To do this I plan to add a separator line with a different color and/or width than the default. I only want to do this in certain locations so I do not want to change its appearance throughout the app.

I have the business plan so I can enter my additional CSS. Bascially I would like to create a new custom class with the different color/width separator line that I can then add to CSS the instances of the component which I want to change.

Unfortunately I do not know how to do this.

Can anyone help?

I would just use an image or some html div tags with inline css styling in a rich text component.
