# Help needed, How to reduce loading time (Images)?

Dear Gliders,

How can I reduce the loading time of the app, I have clients that have a lot of images and videos in the app.

Images that you upload as the app builder, can be compressed (I use tiny.png). We can’t control user uploads - not natively. I also have this issue on my list of performance improvements needed. It’s a regular occurrence that a user will upload in image that take 8 seconds to load with a fast wi-fi connection, this is the first time - until the image gets cached on their device.

So, even that those images are URL’s steal needed to be comprass?

yep, they get stored as urls but they have a file size.
