# GSheets logic with MySQL data

My team has already made an app that has all the data and logic resided in GSheets. I would like to know that if in future, can we use MySQL or some other DB just for storing as the dataset will only become bigger, and just use GSheets for the logic and calculation part. If yes, then how?

Or use glide tables as alternative to Google sheet

Thank you for the prompt response.  
Wanted to check if some or all of these are likely to add to the time lag due to another layer/leg of data flow? If yes, pls. suggest which may & which may not?
